Medieval Astrology Guide is a comprehensive resource for the theory, techniques, and practices of medieval astrology. If you're new to the practice of medieval astrology or are unsure of how it differs from more modern or popular forms of astrology, please see our FAQ and our expanding Medieval Astrology for the Modern Astrologer series.

Medieval astrology is roughly defined as the astrological art practiced between  700 AD to 1500 AD. Hellenistic astrology (practiced between circa 200 BC to 600 AD) came prior to and laid the foundation for much of what would become the medieval tradition. Following the medieval tradition was the Renaissance tradition which flourished from around 1500 AD to 1700 AD. These three types (Hellenistic, Medieval, and Renaissance) are usually grouped together under the title of traditional or classical astrology.

This website features series of articles, products, and services embodying the spirit and teachings of the medieval astrological tradition. The articles contain information on all of the branches of the art for the interested student at any level of their learning as well as additional resources outside of this site to facilitate the student's progress. Meanwhile, the products and services offered are for those who are seeking professional astrological consultations. Please see the Consultations page for more details.
